Douglas Lakeview Stables

Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains, we provide wonderful trail riding memories. Views up to 40 miles. Our scenic trails wind along the shore of 33,000 acre Douglas Lake and through Mountain Valleys. There are several points where one can get a view of the Valley of The Cherokee. During certain times of the year, you can even ride out onto some of the islands in the middle of the lake! Ask about our sunset rides. 5 to 7 pm

The Dollywood Foundation releases young Eagles back to Nature in this remote area. Keep your eyes open for them and the many other birds and wildlife along the trails.

Really, why would anyone ride in downtown smog and traffic noise when you can drive a few minutes to a wilderness area and ride where Indians lived along with early pioneers.

We have, without bragging, the very best views anywhere.
